3 teams you want in your online CFM league

That time is nearly upon us where we find out what franchise we are trying to lead to glory in Madden 19.

As we wait for the game to be released, be it via EA Access, Hall of Fame edition early access or when the game is released worldwide on August 10, attention naturally turns to what teams people will want. And the ones you hope to avoid.

Below are the three teams that will leave you jumping for joy should you be lucky enough to be given one of these squads.

Cleveland Browns

Like last Madden, this is a great roster to have.

The Browns in M18 had the picks in the first draft to do something special. Fortunately for you, those picks have been highly rated this year.

A stacked squad, it has players for you to trade early doors to acquire more picks or that special player you want.

Tyrod Taylor, Corey Coleman and Jabrill Peppers are just a few players you could move on without doing much, if any, damage to your starting players.

A young QB in Baker Mayfield, Myles Garrett, Denzel Ward, Nick Chubb, Mychal Kendricks, Jamie Collins, Jarvis Landry, Josh Gordon, David Njoku. The list goes on.

This team is ready to challenge for a Super Bowl from day one. And you don’t have Hue Jackson actually calling plays!

Jacksonville Jaguars

Probably the only team more stacked than the Browns.

Quarterback aside, Blake Bortles is serviceable, this team has the offensive line, running back, corners, linebackers and defensive line to just dominate not only the AFC South, but the entire NFL.

And it’s the defence that makes them the team I want in Madden 19.

Jalen Ramsey and AJ Bouye are lockdown.

Myles Jack and Telvin Smith will dominate as linebackers.

Calais Campbell, Marcell Dareus, Taven Bryan, Malik Jackson, Dante Fowler Jr, Yannick Ngakoue. How can you pick four starters from that list?

Barry Church alongside Ronnie Harrison, I am loving those safety combo.

This team, like the Browns, has enough studs that you can trade some away to get a TE, QB or elite wide receiver to make this team genuinely unstoppable if you don’t think they are already.

Factor in their new unis. Woof!

LA Rams/LA Chargers/Minnesota Vikings/Philadelphia Eagles/Atlanta Falcons/New Orleans Saints/

I can’t decide so I’m going to cheat. You get any of those teams and you are set.

Every team has a quarterback, some younger than others. They are all stacked on one, if not both, sides of the ball.

All have at least one uniform, be it a throwback or colour rush, that you will want to play in every. single. week.

Let’s start with both LA teams have studs on defence and offence.

Rams boast Jared Goff, Todd Gurley and Brandin Cooks. Aaron Donald and Ndamukong Suh. Aqib Talib, Marcus Peters and Lamarcus Joyner. That throwback uni…

And then the Chargers. Philip Rivers, Melvin Gordon, Keenan Allen and Hunter Henry. Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram.

That secondary alone. Casey Hayward, Desmond King, Jason Verrett and Derwin James. Pick. City.

The Vikings defence is just plain nasty. And their receivers look like a cheat code.

The Eagles are built unfairly, what more can you ask for?

The Falcons and Saints are going to be so difficult to stop and in the hands of the right players will be unbeatable.

Unlike Madden 18, there are enough teams for people to get and be pleased about.

This list leaves off the 49ers. Cowboys. Giants. Green Bay. Cardinals. Would you really be upset with those teams?

And I didn’t even mention my team, Miami. Yes, I believe they have the squad depth that will be overlooked by many (I may just be bias).
