Atlanta Falcons Mock Draft – 7 Rounds

Atlanta Falcons Mock Draft – 7 Rounds
Reading Time: 3 minutes.

Here is a 7 round Atlanta Falcons mock draft for 2022.

Using our mock draft simulator, here are the players who could be in play for the Atlanta Falcons in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Even though this does not include trades it does give an indication as to who may be available when the Falcons pick.

Here is your Atlanta Falcons Mock Draft

Round 1: Pick 8 – Kayvon Thibodeaux – Edge – Oregon

With the draft board falling the way it did, picking Thibodeaux here was a no-brainer. The Falcons lacked juice rushing the passer in 2021. KT gives them just that, and at 8 this feels like a steal.

Round 2: Pick 43 – Christian Watson – WR – North Dakota State

With a wide receiver room sparser than my hairline, Mariota (or whoever is running the ship) needs someone to throw the ball to – Watson in this range seems about right. He has all the tools to succeed but needs refinement. Would see plenty of targets early.

Round 2: Pick 58 – Kyler Gordon – CB – Washington

AJ Terrell has blossomed into a fine corner back in Atlanta over the last 2 seasons. Gordon didn’t test as well as many would have liked, but he still has upside. Having another bright, young corner is never a bad thing

Round 3: Pick 74 – Desmond Ridder – QB – Cincinnati

Recent mock drafts have seen the Falcons pick Ridder at 8, which for me is rich. At 74? I’m willing to take the gamble on someone who could thrive in Arthur Smith’s run/play action heavy offence

Round 3: Picks 82 – Logan Hall – DT – Houston

Logan Hall is a player that I have been high on for a while. He provides great size and aggressiveness on the defensive interior. With teams preoccupied with Thibodeaux and Grady Jarrett, he could feast on specific 1 v1 match ups

Round 4: Pick 114 – Erik Ezukanma – WR – Texas Tech

An ideal combination of size, length and athleticism, Ezukanma has significant upside and is a bargain outside the top 100. A nice complementary player, with potential to take on a bigger role as time goes by

Round 5: Pick 151 – Daemon Pierce – RB – Florida

With Cordarelle Paterson still slotted to have a featured role, The Falcons need a change of pace back. So who better than Pierce, who has just scratched the surface on his potential at Florida?

Round 6: Pick 190 – Thayer Munford – OG – Ohio State

A steady player at a big time program, Munford will offer depth on the O-line and could potential become a solid back-up or even starter over time

Round 6: Pick 213 – Josh Jobe- CB – Alabama

A big, physical man press corner who gives his all, tackles hard and is competitive at the catch point. He offers back-up/practice squad potential.
