Bloodlines. Sentiment. Need. Value. It all lines up for Joey Porter Jr to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a Steeler.

ROUND 2: PICK 32 – DAWAND JONES – OT – OHIO ST

The Steelers need to improve on the offensive line and the right side is potentially the most problematic. Dawand Jones is a true right tackle who has lots of traits that Pittsburgh will like

ROUND 2: PICK 49 – JACK CAMPBELL – LB – IOWA

Jack Campbell is one of the top linebackers in the 2023 NFL Draft and the Steelers need to get younger and stronger at the position. Jack Campbell has the mentality and physicality that Mike Tomlin would love to add to his linebacker core.

ROUND 3: PICK 80 – SYDNEY BROWN – SAF – ILLINOIS

Sydney Brown is one of the top safeties in the draft in a poor safety group. If you want to add a safety you better do it early and Brown offers a skillset which will complement Minkah Fitzpatrick.

ROUND 4: PICK 120 – BYRON YOUNG – DT – ALABAMA

It never hurts to keep adding in the trenches and the Steelers still need to find a younger option to place next to Cameron Heyward. Bryon Young is an underrated, solid, consistent prospect who would slot in straight away.

ROUND 7: PICK 234 – RONNIE BELL – WR – MICHIGAN

This late on you are looking for guys who you can develop and can potentially contribute on special teams. Ronnie Bell has the talent to do just that.

ROUND 7: PICK 241 – DYLAN HORTON – EDGE – TCU

A young playmaker who knows how to win. Horton is worth a selection in later rounds.
