Here is a 7 round Indianapolis Colts mock draft for 2023.
Using our mock draft simulator, here are the players who could be in play for the Indianapolis Colts in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Even though this does not include trades it does give an indication as to who may be available when the Colts pick.
Here is your Indianapolis Colts Mock Draft
ROUND 1: PICK 4 – WILL LEVIS – QB – KENTUCKY
The Colts have to take a QB in round 1. At this point it is just trying to work out which one it may be.
ROUND 2: PICK 35 – CAM SMITH – CB – S. CAROLINA
Adding another contributor at corner needs to be another priority for the Colts. They need to get better in the secondary and Cam Smith will be a day 1 starter.
ROUND 3: PICK 79 – ZACH HARRISON – DE – OHIO ST
Zach Harrison will be a solid day 2 pick and adds another player who can get production on this d-line. The Colts need to continue to add talent to the group and Harrison comes with great pedigree.
ROUND 4: PICK 106 – MICHAEL WILSON – WR – STANFORD
Michael Wilson struggled with injuries at Stanford but when healthy he was dominant. He showed this at the Senior Bowl and the Colts should be on the lookout to add weapons for their new QB.
ROUND 5: PICK 138 – MORO OJOMO – DT – TEXAS
Ojomo is a player who can play multiple alignments and his skillset fits in perfectly for Gus Bradley’s defence.
ROUND 5: PICK 162 – LUKE SCHOONMAKER – TE – MICHIGAN
Luke Schoonmaker is a much better player than round 5. But he falls here in this simulation. Jelani Woods came on well in his rookie year and the Colts still have Mo Alie-Cox but Schoonmaker is an all-rounded who can contribute as a pass catcher or a blocker.
ROUND 5: PICK 176 – CHARLIE JONES – WR – PURDUE
Carlie Jones caught everything in college and is another receiver who isn’t getting much love. The Colts need to add consistent, reliable talent to what they have to help whoever their new QB may be
ROUND 7: PICK 221 – JAXSON KIRKLAND – OL – WASHINGTON
Jaxson Kirkland is a versatile offensive lineman who has played both guard and tackle in college. He projects best inside and his experience and versatility would be a great addition to the Colts’ depth chart as a backup.
ROUND 7: PICK 136 – DENERIC PRINCE – RB – TULSA
Prince has great size and plays with toughness and physicality. As a bottom-of-the-roster player, he is worth a pick this late on as a player who could be a thumper of a runner who can step up when needed.
