Round 1: Pick 23 – Hendon Hooker – QB – Tennessee

Some will hate this pick, some will love it. But Kirk Cousinstime in Minnesota is coming to an end. Hooker is soaring up draft boards and is a top-5 QB prospect this year. The Vikings have other needs to fill with their first-rounder, but if they see Hooker as a potential starter in the future, they can’t pass that opportunity up.

Round 3: Pick 87 – Cedric Tillman – WR – Tennessee

A double dip of Tennessee Volunteers here as Tillman was the best receiver left on the board. Adam Thielan’s departure has not been addressed, so, the Vikings receiver room needs bolstering.

Round 4: Pick 119 – Tre’Vius Hodges-Tomlinson

If Hodges-Tomlinson falls this far, the Vikings would be idiotic to pass up on him. They need help at the position and he is an athletic, versatile plug-and-play corner.

Round 5: Pick 158 – Moro Ojomo – Edge/DL – Texas

With over 50 career starts Moro Ojomo was a veteran D lineman at Texas. Players with this many starts in college make for interesting prospects for NFL GMs. He makes impact plays in the run, and pass game.

Round 6: Pick 211 – Jarrett Patterson – IOL – Notre Dame

Patterson was a key figure on the Fighting Irish offensive line for the past four seasons. He has good size to play on the interior O-Line and has experience at both guard positions and even at center.
