DFS Championship Week

DFS Championship Week
Reading Time: 3 minutes.

QB

Patrick Mahomes $7700 Draft Kings

Mahomes lit up Tennessee’s defense in Kansas City’s 35-32 loss at Tennessee earlier this season, Mahomes completed 36 passes for 446 yards and three touchdowns. He’s also thrown multiple touchdowns in three of his last four games. Lock him in as one of the top overall NFL DFS plays on Championship Weekend.

RB

Derrick Henry $8700 Draft Kings

I refuse to fade Henry again in the playoffs. Henry is an unstoppable force. He gets a Kansas Defence that gave up the fourth-most fantasy points to running backs in the regular season. If the Titans are gonna win this game expect a heavy dose of Henry.

Raheem Mostert $4300 Draft Kings

SAN Francisco want to run the ball and they get a Packers defence that has been gashed by opposing running backs all year. While Coleman had the big game last week, Mostert touches remain the same week in week out between 12-15. Cheap option that returns value if he drops into the end zone.

WR

Davante Adams $7900 Draft Kings

Adams posted monster numbers against Seattle, catching eight balls for 180 yards and two scores. He’s matchup-proof at this point and if Green Bay wants to overcome the tall task of defeating the Niners on the road, they’ll need their top wideout to continue his dominant stretch.

Sammy Watkins $4600 Draft Kings

Watkins is an ideal salary-saver who can get you 15 plus points playing on Kansas City’s prolific offense. If you need further context, look back to the Chiefs’ regular-season game against Tennessee, where Watkins was a central part of his team’s game plan being targeted nine times.

TE

Travis Kelce $7100 Draft Kings

Mahomes relentlessly peppered his big-bodied TE with targets, resulting in a monster game for both players last week. Expect a similar approach for Championship Weekend as they continue to make their Super Bowl push. Containing tight ends has been a glaring problem for the Titans, allowing the fourth-most fantasy points in the league.

Jonnu Smith $3400 Draft Kings

The Titans might well need to throw more in this one, and with Tennessee’s receiving corps seemingly lost out there, Smith could take advantage of a Chiefs secondary yielding the fifth-most fantasy points to tight ends on the season.

DST

Titans $2000 Draft Kings

Ok here me out! Cheapest option on the slate. The Titans ranked in the top-half of the league during the regular season in sacks, an area where Kansas City has struggled mightily. They won’t win you any tournaments, but could keep your lineup afloat at this price.
