NFL POWER RANKING ANALYSIS
TOP HALF

We have new leaders in the LA Rams! After beating the reigning Super Bowl champions in the Buccaneers, the Rams have firmly planted their flag at the top of the pecking order.
As for the Bucs they fall a place. They have some issues starting to creep in, especially when running the ball, but they still have the G.O.A.T and we still expect them to be there come the new year.
The Bills rise after an emphatic victory over Washington, who themselves look a shadow of what we expected in the preseason.
Despite the Ravens beating the Lions with an improbable 66 yard field goal, they do fall. This Ravens team should have handled this Lions team with ease, but they made it uncomfortable for themselves.
Kansas City unexpectedly fall out of our top 10! Now, we all know that the Chiefs are a top 10, even top 5 team, but with their only win coming in a close one with the Browns, whilst also sitting 1-2 and bottom of the AFC West, they lose the tiebreakers.
Another faller is the 49ers. Although we have maybe been their biggest advocates, the loss to the Packers showed up some faults. Firstly, if the 49ers are going to be competetive they really need to improve in the secondary. Secondly, the 49ers lacked what the Packers had. A star Quarterback. When Aaron Rodgers needed to put a game winning drive together, he duely delivered.
Now the 49ers put up points, but that added spark and dynamism on offence may have been enough to see out this game. How long before we see 49er fans calling for Trey Lance? As for Green Bay, the week 1 loss still leaves a sour taste, but they seem to be righting the ship.
BOTTOM HALF

One of the most surprising teams this season has been the Bengals. The biggest difference for Cincinnati has been the vast improvement to their defensive line which has made them competetive again.
For Pittsburgh and Miami the same problems are showing up. Both have offensive lines which are frankly liabilities. One team that shouldn’t have a problem with their offensive line, however, is the Colts. Although, they have uncharacteristically struggled through the first few weeks.
The Colts, Texans & Jaguars continue to hand the AFC South to the Titans. Trevor Lawrence continues to be either awesome or dreadful. But, at least the Jaguars have a QB.
The Texans on the other hand are currently rolling with Davis Mills, who was protected by play calling too much against the Panthers. If the Texans are really to see what they have in Mills, then they need to cut him loose.
It was expected that the Jets would be improved in 2021. We should have known better. There may be a new QB in town, but, the same ghosts Sam Darnold was seeing haven’t left. Zach Wilson is scared for his life and the Jets need to see improvements all over the field.
The same could be said on the other New York team. The one promising take for the Giants is that Daniel Jones has not been the problem. An arguement could be made that he has been the Giants best player. If results keep going the way they are and there is are changes to the front office, how long Daniel Jones stays in New York is a different question.
