The AFC North has been as invigorating, exhilarating and challenging as we expected. The face of the AFC North has changed over the last 5 weeks and so have the power rankings. As the weather turns frosty and fierce so does the onfield action in the AFC North, which should be as unpredictable and uncertain as ever. However, one thing we are certain of is that the AFC North is up for grabs.
1. Ravens (3-2)
The cream of the crop in the AFC North. Exciting, potent and progressive, the Ravens are making noise across the NFL. This multiskilled and multitalented roster has stepped up so far in 2019 and are looking like the playoff team they deserve to be.

2. Browns (2-3)
There was always too much hype surrounding the Browns. We all enjoyed it while it lasted. One of the most important positions was neglected by the Browns when recruiting in the offseason. The offensive line. This hype train is running with so much of a delay it should be cancelled.

3. Steelers (1-4)
You cannot anticipate for the disastrously unfortunate spell of injuries the Steelers have had. From playoff favourites to full-blown rebuild mode. It’s all or nothing in the NFL.
Quarterback troubles continue in Pittsburgh. Ben Roethlisberger suffered a season-ending injury in week 2 against the Seahawks and now his backup Mason Rudolph is in concussion protocol. If only there was a quarterback out there desperate to get on a team with a history of playoff appearances…

4. Bengals (0-5)
In preseason it was difficult to know if Cincinnati would run hot or cold. 0 games won and only 8 touchdowns. Zac Taylor has his work cut out to transform this team. How long before they start trading away assets for the imminent rebuild?

The AFC North will continue to be tight and nervy. We cannot wait to see how it all unfolds. Soak it all up and stay up to date here at ninetynineyards.com
