Matt Waletzko Interview

Matt Waletzko Interview
Reading Time: < 1 minute.

We got the chance to sit down with Matt Waletzko, the University of North Dakota offensive tackle and 2022 NFL Draft prospect.

It was great to sit down with Matt and spend some time talking through his career so far.

Matt Waletzko is a huge offensive tackle standing at 6’8″ and weighing 315 Lbs. He also has 10 1/4″ hands as well as arms measuring 36 1/8″. This size and length underpins Matt’s whole game and Matt discusses how teams are really buying into his size and athletic ability.

Matt shares what it was like at North Dakota and speaks about his injury, as well as the difficulty of the covid year.

They then discuss the Senior Bowl which Matt attended and they discuss what it was like competing against players from larger schools and realising he belongs at this level. Matt also shared who the most difficult edge rusher he faced was in Mobile.

Matt also shares some of the feedback he has been getting from NFL teams before telling us exactly what a team will be getting if they draft Matt Waletzko.

Thank you Matt for the fantastic interview and you can hear the full podcast here!
