New England Patriots Mock Draft – 7 Rounds
Reading Time: 2 minutes.

Here is a 7 round New England Patriots mock draft for 2022.

Using our mock draft simulator, here is one look at who the New England Patriots might consider selecting in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Even though this does not include trades it does give an indication as to who may be available when the Patriots pick.

So here it is – your New England Patriots Mock Draft.

Round 1: Pick 21 – ANDREW BOOTH – CB – Clemson

Relying on Malcolm Butler and Darius Slay as your starting corners isn’t a great place for the Patriots defense to be. Adding Andrew Booth if he makes it to 21 would massively help the New England secondary.

Round 2: Pick 54 – CHRISTIAN HARRIS – LB – Alabama

I dare you to tell me Christian Harris isn’t a typical Bill Belichick linebacker. With his sideline to sideline speed and leadership qualities to boot, he totally fits the Patriots mould.

Round 3: Pick 85 – ALEC PIERCE – WR – Cincinnati

Even with DeVante Parker now in the fold, New England could still stand to improve the quality and depth in its receiver room. Alec Pierce is a tall pass catcher with good hands and could become Mac Jones’ new favourite target.

Could Andrew Booth be the Patriots first pick in this year’s NFL Draft?

Round 4: pick 127 – HASKELL GARRETT – DL – Ohio State

Haskell Garrett has the size and skill set to play in a 3-man front and has the quality and work ethic that will appeal to New England. He’d be a very solid pick at this point.

Round 5: pick 170 – ZACH TOM – IOL – Wake Forest

Many people hadn’t heard of Zach Tom before he put on a show at the Combine. We know New England like to pick and develop offensive linemen with athletic traits, which Tom certainly is.

Round 6: Pick 200 – MATT WALETZKO – OT – North Dakota

Speaking of offensive linemen with significant upside, Matt Waletzko is another player who will appeal to the Patriots for exactly that reason. Waletzko’s skill set is more that of a pure OT whereas Zach Tom would likely provide more cover on the interior of the line.

Round 6: Pick 210 – SINCERE MCCORMICK – RB – UTSA

Sincere McCormick has been one of the most productive running backs in the country over the last couple of years. And while the step up to the NFL will be a big one, he’s got all the tools necessary to have a decent career.
