The Eagles historically don’t take corners in the first round. The last one was Lito Sheppard in 2002. But, they have to address the position. Darius Slay stepped up in 2021 but they need to find another true starter at the position.

Round 1: Pick 18 – JAMESON WILLIAMS – WR – Alabama

Another receiver. In the first round! Jameson Williams is judged by some to be the best receiver in this class. He is explosive and can take the top off a defence. The Eagles don’t have this at the moment as they continue to add to a different type of receiver into a diverse room.

Round 2: Pick 51 – QUAY WALKER – LB – Georgia

Walker is an explosive athlete who moves sideline to sideline with ease. He is a supreme tackler, he shows great football intelligence and brings a winning mentality.

Round 3: Pick 83 – TREY MCBRIDE – TE – Colorado St

Trey McBride is the best tight end in the 2022 NFL Draft. There is a chance someone may look to take him in the second round but it isn’t inconceivable he is available in the 3rd. He is an all round TE and the Eagles keep building to give Jalen Hurts every chance in 2022.

Round 3: Pick 101 – TROY ANDERSEN – LB – Montana St

The Eagles have already added one linebacker on day 2. Here they add another. Andersen is a player who is only going to improve having played running back and quarterback while at Montana St. He is a player who can step up and do everything well and he is only going to improve.

Round 4: Pick 124 – LUKE FORTNER – IOL – Kentucky

Fortner is a versatile interior lineman. He can play guard and center. Philly fans may think they don’t have a need here but Fortner will add versatility and added depth.

Round 5: Pick 154 – AMARE BARNO – EDGE – Virginia Tech

Barno is a player who can only improve. He has some traits that teams will love but he will require some coaching. He is quick, he is explosive, he is strong. If he can put it together, with some good coaching, this could be a steal.

Round 5: Pick 162 – PIERRE STRONG Jr – RB – South Dakota St

Yes, the Eagles do have a decent running back room. And yes, the Eagles do have a QB who can run in Jalen Hurts. But they are all very much in the same mould. Pierre Strong is a home run hitter who will get time on the field immediately.

Round 5: Pick 166 – CHRISTOPHER HINTON – DL – Michigan

The Eagles love picking up talent at defensive tackle. The Eagles arte able to pick Hinton up in the fifth and add him to the rotation

Round 7: Pick 237 – JAQUARII ROBERSON – WR – Wake Forest

Round 7, you just want to acquire guys who have a chance and draft them before they get a chance to become a UDFA and gives you the ability to beat teams to guys. Roberson is a player to like who could go earlier than this.
