WEAKNESSES
Needs to work on his hand placement. Needs to attack shoulders and in half rather than trying to bowl the opponent over by attacking their chest with power
Needs to have better anticipation. Isn’t very reactive off the snap and it means that tackles can often get a step on him
He can get locked up at times. He needs to be able to let go and use his strength leverage to compete.
Lacks a lot of countermoves
Isn’t a bendy or flexible edge defender and that is reflected in his play style.
SUMMARY
Felix Anudike-Uzomah is coming off a brilliant year with Kansas State which saw them become Big-12 champions. Andudike-Uzomah is a draft prospect who, if he lands on the right team, could be really successful. But, he will need to be utilised in the right way. His profile is one that is based on strength and power and a system where he can be used as a true DE would be beneficial for him. If he can be coached to be better at recognition, staying more alert and being more precise, he has a high ceiling to work with.
