Sam LaPorta is a well-rounded tight end who does everything really well but nothing to an exceptional level. He is an extremely secure and consistent prospect who has a really high floor. LaPorta shows great hands and routes as a pass catcher which sees him get open and create separation easily. He just isn’t imposing as an athlete to stoke fear into defences. However, LaPorta is ready to slot in as a starting tight end how and be consistently impactful as a rookie.
